The Immigration Kit: Digital Edition’s new Q&A tool
The Immigration Kit: Digital Edition will have an exciting new feature – an interactive Q&A tool that will allow people to type in questions (via a chat platform) and get easy-to-understand answers to their immigration law questions that are drawn directly from the reference text only.
This will save hours trawling through legislation and give users a solid starting point for their immigration matters and queries, and better understanding of the options available for clients and individuals.
Why is The Immigration Kit launching online?
The Immigration Kit: Digital Edition simplifies an undeniably complex area of law and policy. It is an essential digital resource for immigration lawyers, migration agents, students, advocates and the community.
As immigration lawyers, we know accurate and easy-to-understand information regarding immigration law is not readily available to the community. IARC is launching The Immigration Kit: Digital Edition to make accurate information about immigration law accessible and easier to update, to keep pace with frequent changes in immigration law and policy.
When the first draft of the Immigration Kit was written more than 30 years ago, its purpose was to empower vulnerable and diverse communities with access to information. Through The Immigration Kit: Digital Edition, IARC and our partners Lext will continue the work of the original authors and editors in their mission to improve access to justice.
